FORKBOY! ANOTHER ROUND OF PBR!!!

Thanks to the lack of rain here in town the crue has been spending a lot of time out at the PBR compound and Pony Boy has been chomp'n at the bit getting ready for the PiNN-iT contest later this month. Daniel Weeks(http://www.pinn-it.com/) and his buddy Robbie King showed up out at the compound a few week back and held it down 4-stroke style for a session with Sloan, DougEfresh, p-dog, kc and Boban and I got it on tape. Looks like we've got some professionals around here.

One of the new faces around the Trojun Crue this year is legendary shredder Mike "Tex" Devenport. Aside from being one of the pioneers of steep and deep big mountain snowboarding with a slue of first descents under his belt on some of the gnarliest terrain on the planet.(I think the dude had a helicopter following him EVERYWHERE for most of the 90's) He's also got mad skills on the dirt bike (and a skateboard and a mountain bike and a diving board...) and has ridden with the best in the game. "45 years old with a artificial hip and still better at everything than you are". Not to mention he's a super cool, laid back dude who WILL drink you under the table, because if you do out drink him... then you have to fight him and FUCK THAT!



Fuel TV has been running Tex's episode of the Standard Snowboard Show this week so if you haven't seen it gas up the D.V.R. and check that shit out. Then buy the dude a beer the next time you see him...he's earned it!

Me and Jeff are about 15 minutes away from hoping on 35 north and hitting the Pinn-it compound up for a little practice b4 Dans contest. I nabbed Jimi's camera (sorry bud I'll take good care of it!) and Jeff will be shooting stills so should have some good ridin/party pics whne we get back plus some bitchin shots of Dan who is a friend of Trojun. Should be rad. Stay tuned, and word on the street is there is a bbq at the Trojun trails today.

You know it's hot too! Another brutal summer here in central Texas with temperatures skyrocketing and no rain in sight. When times are tough the locals 'round here get serious when it comes to cool n' down! Noodles built one of the tech'est lake jump ramps known to man. N.A.S.A. ain't got shit on this dude. And when Jason Sunday got to hot he scaled the side of a 50 foot cliff to carve out one of the gnarliest slip-n-slides I've ever hit. Let's all just keep praying to the rain gods that good ol' el nino comes through next summer and refills the tanks. Jeff Crim came out and score some shots of Trojun locals seshin the ramps at PBR. Daniel Weeks of Pinn-It came out for the jam and moto went down when the sun was out but as it set hittin the liquid cocains was all that was on the agenda.
